So school starts on Tuesday and I didn‟t do ANY back to school shopping. NowI‟m not like a lot of other people where their parents give them 100 dollars to spend
  5. 5. anywhere. I have to pay with money i make on my own. Except for jeans, which my momis paying for.Anyway, I am into the band T-shirts and all and I normally shop at Hot Topic whereshirts are roughly $ 15.00 and I also shop at other places occasionly like Hollister. Butanyway, I need to know a few things:1. Are there any other places such as Hot Topic where I can get band T-shirts but for lessprices? Or online stores?2.Any online stores that are that kind of “rocker” style of clothes?3. What are some good ways to get money from my parents? They normally give me $5.00 jobs like picking weeds in the garden and stuff. But I need money fast!!!Best answer:Answer by Jenner GraceI‟m not sure about #1&2 but I do know about #3One easy way that I made money was selling my clotes to a place like plato‟s closet. Theygave me like really good offers and then I didn‟t have to wear clothes I didn‟t want and Icould make good money by selling them.I promise u I‟m not some like paid advertiser or anything. I just found that was an easyway to make money because like ur parents, my parents only gave me jobs in the yard likemowing the grass and stuff.Add your own answer in the comments!{ Comments on this entry are closed }Rocker at National Botanic GardenDECEMBER 8, 2011Rocker at National Botanic Garden Image by Packherd Question by Camille: Are you over the hill? I planted them about 1 1/2 to 2″ deep and just kind of sprinkled them in a row andcovered them up. Are they too close together? It has been a little cold here over thenights. I live in Minnesota. But the days have been in the mid 70′s for the most part andmy garden gets lots of sunshine and it is watered every morning. Am I doing somethingwrong? Should I try digging them up? Thanks!Best answer:Answer by juel2424As long as the garden has gotten water/rain, sprouts should be up any day now. Givethem a few more days before you sneak a peak. What do you think? However, atone end of my garden – the area that once was a burning pile – the vegetable plants hereare a good 4-5 inches taller than the rest of my plants. This small area represents about5% of my whole garden (so the majority of plants, although growing, aren‟t as healthy asthis small area).
  11. 11. I recently put 0-0-46 (high nitrogen or urea) 3-4 inches beside everything at 3 inchesdeep and covered it up. This was what my pop said to do. Now he‟s thinking that I need toadd a balanced fertilizer to the whole garden. I also, per my pop‟s instruction, pulledabout 3-4 inches of soil around the base of each plant. ** This is my first garden, by theway. Having said this, my pop said it could take 2-3 years to get the soil right **The soil has remained relatively normal. It‟s not soggy or too dry. It also gets a lot ofsunlight. Is it true it could take 2-3 years of planting to get the soil ph where it needs to be? It‟s abit late to till now, lest I tear up or expose the root systems on most of the plants (therows are adequate/wide enough to till, which I‟ve done 3 times already).Any gardening tips would be greatly appreciated.Best answer:Answer by bill jIt was once a burning pile. The ashes from the fire have leached into the ground in thatarea of your garden and are providing more nutrients to that area. If you have a fireplace, wood burning stove, or Bar B Q grill that you burn wood in take the wood ashes andspread them over the rest of your garden. Spread it out thinly. A little goes a long way andtoo much in one spot will kill your plants. NO NOT use ashes from coal or charcoalbriquettes. This will damage your plants.Another thing. If one end of your garden is lower than the other then water will seeptowards the downhill end and carry nutrients with it. This provides the lower end of yourgarden with more water and nutrients than the higher end. Here is a tip on planting tomato plants. Plant them deep. The soil should come all the wayto just below the bottom leaves. The part of the stem you bury in the ground will sproutroots. A bigger root system will provide more water and nutrients to the plant.Avoid over tilling your garden. Tilling brings the moist soil to the surface where the sundries it out. This deprives your plants of water. Most plants will grow in a range of PH. I wouldn‟t worry unless your soil is wildly out ofPH balance.
