    • 7. Our Success Stories: Event Theme Client Issue One of our global corporate clients was less then 1 month away from hosting a hospitality event for its largest clients and prospects. The anticipated number of visitors to the event was estimated at 500 guests. One major problem existed. Our client needed a theme for the event or as they stated it, “a hook to draw in visitors...” With less then 1 month’s lead time to prepare they came to Proforma looking for a solution. Our Solution & Result After some quick research on the event, Proforma identified a statistic from last years event in which an exit poll stated that 85% of the participants would ‘bet’ that data security was going to be an issue for the next decade. Proforma pitched a poker themed event to its client and developed an event slogan that urged potential customers to not gamble with their Network IT Security. We brokered a deal to have 2003 WSOP champion Chris Moneymaker attend the event and BT executives dealt cards to Chris and their top prospects well into the evening! It was their most successful event to date.

Our Success Stories: Easy Gift-Giving Client Issue Our largest university client was making far too many expensive trips to their bookstore to purchase gifts for visiting alumni, guest speakers and volunteers. Other than a few inexpensive pens and coffee mugs, they had nothing to offer their special guests. Even with a book store discount, the costs were still high and the trips were time consuming. Our Solution & Result We recommended a Gift Closet and presented a wide variety of promotional products ranging from $0.50 to $50. Items included pens, padfolios, embroidered hats and shirts, golf items, desk clocks and paperweights. Each time they order promotional products for existing events, they order extra for the closet. They always have the items on hand and never have to run to the bookstore for a last minute gift. We saved them valuable time and money, as our pricing was consistently lower across the board. Some of our clients prefer to put this online through one of our company store solutions.
    • 9. Our Success Stories: Quality on Time Client Issue In late June of 04 we had our first face-to face meeting with a Nantucket, MA brewery, distillery and winery. It was one week before the Fourth of July Weekend (the busiest weekend of the summer) and they clearly had ordering and inventory issues with their existing apparel vendor, as most of the shelves were empty. Our Solution & Result Through Proforma's Preferred Limited Partner (PLP) network, our silkscreen printers were able to print, fold and deliver more than 500 decorated tee shirts, hats and polo shirts by Friday afternoon. Not only did we bail them out of a major jam, but we provided a higher quality product at a lower price. Our superior service and attention to detail have made us their exclusive supplier of logo'd apparel, promotional products, printed marketing materials, graphic design, website development and web-order fulfillment. In turn, our client has experienced record sales in every non-alcoholic category since partnering with Proforma.
    • 10. Our Success Stories: One-Stop Shopping Client Issue A private high school was having difficulty managing the ordering process for its book store. They were dealing with multiple vendors and each one was requiring them to order more than they needed. Our Solution & Result Our one-stop shopping capabilities allowed the book store manager to work with one company, allowing him to focus on sales and marketing. With Proforma we don’t have inflated minimums, so not only did we reduce their overall costs but we freed up valuable storage space. It was the perfect win-win situation for us both.

      • Mark J. Resnick – Managing Partner
      • As co-founder and managing partner, Mark’s leadership and experience have helped us become one of Proforma’s most successful franchises, consistently ranking us in the top 5%.
      • For the past ten years Mark has more than tripled our business with private high schools and universities, including some of the largest and most successful schools in the Northeast. With over 15 years of experience, Mark continues to provide our clients with creative and cost efficient printing, promotional and ecommerce solutions.
      • He has also been instrumental in our forming strategic partnerships with our preferred limited partners and select retail constituents, focusing on import solutions, new product development and consulting services.
      • Prior to Proforma, Mark was Director of Development at Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, MA and Assistant Director at Fairfield College Preparatory School in Fairfield, CT.
      • Mark holds a B.A. in Politics and English from Fairfield University.
      • Barry D. Resnick – Partner
      • Barry co-founded Proforma Printing and Promotion with his son Mark in 1999. With more than 45 years of industry experience, Barry has become one of Massachusetts’ leading distributors in the commercial printing, business forms, and more recently, promotional markets.
      • Barry first entered the business as a sales rep for Standard and Register and Moore Business Forms. After 35 successful years as a leading sales executive, the timing was right to start Proforma. We’ll be the first to admit, it was the best move he ever made!
      • Barry holds a B.A. in Business from Boston University.

      • William M. Resnick – Partner
      • Bill joined the leadership team in January of 2004. As VP of Operations, Bill oversees the entire day-to-day operations. It is because of Bill that we are able to provide outstanding customer service for each client, regardless of size.
      • Prior to Proforma, Bill spent 7+ years with Fidelity Investments.
      • Bill holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
      • John S. Resnick – Partner
      • John is the most recent addition to the Proforma team and has assumed the role of Vice President of Sales and Business Development.
      • Prior to Proforma, John spent 6+ years with Accenture (formally Anderson Consulting) working in various consulting roles within the Financial Performance and Management team. Among John’s responsibilities at Accenture was deal shaping and business development in the Communications & High Tech industry.
      • John was most recently with Digitas LLC, one of the leaders in marketing consulting, working within their Client Financial Management team. John oversaw financial operations for Digitas’ west coast office as well as its largest east coast relationship.
      • John holds a B.S. in Finance from the Charles F. Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University.
