Marketing Addiction Treatment, Prevention and Recovery ProgramsJennifer Iacovelli
From the 2015 New England Institute of Addiction Studies (NEIAS) Summer School:
Most addiction treatment, prevention and recovery programs do not have the luxury of big marketing budgets or even a designated
staff marketing person. Coupled with the stigma that comes along with substance use disorders, marketing and branding an
organization becomes challenging, to say the least. Managers are tasked with promoting programs on shoestring budgets and little
education on the intricacies of marketing. This course will examine various concepts and strategies for developing an integrated
marketing communications plan ‐ that includes traditional and social media strategies ‐ within your organization.
Learning Objectives:
After taking this course, participants will be able to:
• Understand the basics of branding an organization;
• Understand what an integrated marketing communications plan is;
• Provide examples of how social media can be used to support marketing and branding efforts; and
• Provide examples of how external communications can support marketing and branding efforts.

3. Funksjon
lys slippes inn hele tiden. Og det er enklere å
se bussene utenifra.
6. • Vi la merke til at
mursteinene på
veggene, lagde et slags
mønster og gjorde sånn at
terminalen ble
symmetrisk. På endene
var mursteinene rød, og
så ble det mindre og
mindre lenger innover. Og
så var det null rød steiner
på midten.
Skiltene
henger høyt oppe sånn at det blir lettere å se
fra lang avstand.
• Blindesporene deler også opp vente-,stå- og
sitteplassene. Nærmest vinduene er
venteplassene og i midten skal man gå.
8.
9. Variasjon i rommet
• Plantene, benkene
og blindesporene
deler opp hver
plattform. Taket
hjelper også til med
å dele opp rommet.
11. Funksjon
• Togstasjonen er for
alle som skal reise
eller vente. Det er
også
spisested, butikk, trafi
kkskole, frisør, telekios
k og toalett. Det blir
også brukt som
gjennomgang.
togsporene.
14. Variasjon i rommet
• For å bryte opp
store områder er
det forskjellige
farger i taket og
veggene.
15. Sammenligning
• Bygningene ser like ut
fordi har samme
funksjon og ligger så
nærme hverandre at
det er lett å finne frem.
• Togstasjonen virker som
en gate fordi det er
flere muligheter enn
bare å vente på toget.
• Bussterminalen virker
som en gang fordi det
eneste man kan gjøre er
å vente på bussen.
16. • Man kunne ha brukt
arealene bedre.
• På bussterminalen
kunne man brukt
plassen ved glassveggen
til flere benker.
• På togstasjonen kan de
ha flere benker i
«lommene» på hver
plattform.
• Vi syntes løsningen på
bussterminalen er best
fordi det er mer
åpent, lyst og bedre
plass.
