I believe that all people with autism deserve the opportunity to join the workforce to become as independent and productive as possible. With 80% of adults with autism unemployed, there is a failure in our system of education, social services, and business to leverage the potential of people with autism.
In 2013 I founded Yes She Can Inc. to develop job skills for young women with autism. We operate Girl AGain, a resale boutique for American Girl dolls where we operate our store as a laboratory to directly teach job task skills, business concepts, and workplace social skills. We function as an incubator with the objective of our trainees to become employed in the competitive workplace...
