earthquake of magnitude 5.1, which was preceded by a seismic movement of 4.5.

The epicenter was located in the Tercia mountain range, in the municipality of
Murcia. The earthquake caused damages between 5 and 10 kilometers northeast
of the city center, near the Murcia motorway, and it was felt strongly in several
towns in the region, such as the capital, Mazarrón, Cartagena and Aguilas, and
even in other provinces as Almería, Albacete and Madrid.
