This document outlines David Chae's business intelligence project for SAIT. The project involved 6 phases: 1) creating a balanced scorecard and strategy map, 2) designing dimension and fact tables in SQL Server 2008 R2, 3) developing ETL packages with SSIS, 4) creating reports with SSRS, 5) building an OLAP cube with SSAS, and 6) developing performance dashboards in PerformancePoint and SharePoint. The environments used SQL Server 2008, Windows Server 2008, and VMWare. Tools included SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Visual Studio. Sample data came from AdventureWorks database.
