3. The Different Meanings of Every Action Every culture has a different way of expressing itself. Simple things such as bowing, finger snapping, and different forms of hand gestures, can mean so much. Some gestures, such as the "thumbs up" hand gesture, which means that "everything is fine" and "A-Okay" in America and Britain, stands for the word "anus" in Germany and Brazil - two very different meanings. The hand wave, which is used to say "hello" and to call attention to one's self, and the clenched fist, which is used to show aggression, are two of the very few universal hand gestures.

5. Although the different ways that a cultures uses body language and hand gestures may set them apart from others, the fact that each culture uses them unifies them and makes them related.
