6. In this presentation we are going to show you how you can position a menu
you have created in AllWebMenus Pro.
There are 2 main positioning options:
1. Automatically show Main Menu on page load
1.1 Relative to Window
1.2 Relative to an Element
1.3 Relative to an Image
2. Manually trigger Main Menu or any Group on user action
2.1 On Mouse Over event
2.2 On Mouse Click event

7. In order to access the Menu Positioning settings you need to click on the
โMenu Positioningโ button on the top area of the application.

Alternatively, you can click on โGlobal Propertiesโ button which is in the top
area of AllWebMenus and then click on Positioning.
8. The first choice is โRelative to Windowโ which means that the menu will be
positioned relative to the browser window.
You are able to select the Window Anchor, which means that you can set where the
menu will be positioned relative to the Window.
Then you can set the Horizontal Offset (Offset X) and the Vertical Offset (Offset Y).

9. The second choice is โRelative to an Elementโ which means that the menu will be
positioned relative an element you specify.
This element should exist in your page so that the menu can be displayed.

10. On the Element Anchor ID you are able to leave the Default ID or specify your own by
selecting the Custom and typing your elementโs ID.
You can set the Element Anchor and the Menu Anchor so that the menu will be
positioned exactly the way you want it.
Then you can set the Horizontal Offset (Offset X) and the Vertical Offset (Offset Y).

11. The third choice is โRelative to an Imageโ which means that the menu will be
positioned relative an image you specify.
The image you select to be the menu positioning image should exist in your page so
that the menu can be displayed.

12. You need to type the image name on the โImage Filanameโ field.
You can set the Image Anchor and the Menu Anchor so that the menu will be
positioned exactly where you want it.
Then you can set the Horizontal Offset (Offset X) and the Vertical Offset (Offset Y).

13. The second positioning method is to
โManually trigger Main Menu or any Group on user actionโ.

14. First, you can select which Menu Group you want to be used as a popup menu.

15. Then, you can select the Trigger Event.
It can be either โOn Mouse Overโ or โOn Mouse Clickโ.

16. The following step is to select the Positioning Element.
You have 2 choices: either to select โThe same element that triggers the popup menuโ or
to select โAnother element, with this IDโ and type the ID of that element.
Note, that this element should exist in your page in order for the menu to appear.

17. The next step is to select the Element Anchor and the Group Anchor.
You can also set the Offset X and Offset Y.

18. When you have finished with all the settings you can click on the โCopyโ button.
Then, go to your page and paste the code to your page.
You could paste that code to a link or an image for example, so that on the trigger
event you have set the menu should appear.
