Matt is depressed after a breakup and falls for a prostitute named Christina during a trip to Amsterdam. A year later, Christina shows up at Matt's apartment ill with AIDS, still in love with Matt's friend Davis. When Matt leaves, Davis appears and has rough sex with Christina, hurting her further. She leaves devastated after Davis returns to his fiancée, and Matt realizes he will never see Christina again.
