WHAT WE DON’T WISH TO SEE ON THE IPHONE 5 (PART 1)
1. Back in the day, the iPhone was about as big as Nokia in terms of market
share. In 2007 when Apple said it was going to sell iPhone, people thought it
was a crazy idea. In the wake of its market release the company managed to
sell more than 700,000 units during the first weekend. It shattered a lot of
misconceptions and wowed other tech companies. The New York Times praised
the said smartphone albeit a little hesitant on the smartphone’s future success.

Now, the tech giant is about to embark on another iPhone release on
September 12. And while we all saw the iPhone blossom into a revolutionary
device that rose amidst the sea of smartphones, we think the company still has
a long way ahead of them before they retail iPhone perfectly.
Here’s a quick rundown of the things we hope Apple has managed to fix on the
next iPhone:
Unexpandable Memory
Unlike most Android smartphones, the iPhone still has a knack for providing
iPhones with fixed memory capacities. It’s sometimes frustrating that the iPhone
doesn’t have a micro SD slot. But we know it’ll never happen, which is why
we’re either planning to sell iPhone 4 or hoping that the next iPhone has bigger
memory and RAM!
2. Still No Sign of NFC
iPhone fans all over the world were eager to see if the iPhone 4S would have
NFC or Near Field Communications. That’s because a lot of smartphones these
days have the capability to act as an electronic wallet (take Google phones for
example). We do wish the rumors of an NFC enabled iPhone come to light.
iPhone Activation Problems at AT&T
Okay, we know this isn’t necessarily an Apple problem but it could be their
fault too. Last year, a lot of buyers reported difficulties in activating their
iPhone 4S units. It almost made them want to sell iPhone 4S back. Some say it
was caused by network jams on AT&T’s part. Well, if that’s the case then we’re
happy to know that AT&T has issued an all-hands-on-deck policy for the iPhone
5 release.
Stuck Camera Shutter
Yes, the iPhone 4S iSight camera was a treat for iPhoneographers. But we’ve
actually experienced a stuck camera shutter after taking several pictures. The
native is also slow to load in some iPhones. If the 3D camera or HD camera
really is on the iPhone 5, it better not be stuck (or we’ll go ballistic—LOL).
Bad Battery, Again and Again
This is the primary reason people don’t want iPhone. Even tech experts said the
iPhone 4S has a habit of eating battery life like Cookie Monster with a cookie.
But since there were reports of relocated speakers and headset jack, smaller
dock and a smaller SIM card slot, we’re hoping the redesign was because of a
bigger battery.
