2. Lindsey was born and raised in
the Bluegrass State.
She grew up with two
brothers and two inspiring
parents in Louisville,
Kentucky…
She later decided to
move 70 miles down the
road to Lexington… This
is when her life truly
began.
3. Lindsey attended the University of
Kentucky
She originally chose Art Studio as her major, but then
realized she was more interested in thinking outside the box.
Lindsey changed her major at the end of Freshman year to
Integrated Strategic Communications (Advertising).
4. Lindsey was a member of
the UK Varsity Dance Team
for all 4 years. She danced at
all the Football games and
Men’s Basketball games.
Being a part of a collegiate
athletic team taught Lindsey:
LEADERSHIP
SELF-DISCIPLINE
TIME MANAGEMENT
OPTIMISM
DEDICATION

6. After changing her
major to ISC, Lindsey
sought out her first
internship at the
Louisville-based agency,
Creative Alliance (CA).
Here she worked closely
with both the Creative
Team and the Account
Management Team.
7. She returned a second summer to CA, where
she was hired as an Assistant Account Executive
for Yum Brands and a large Healthcare account,
Community Health Systems.
8. Entering her senior
year, Lindsey knew
she wanted to
position herself for a
job at a global
advertising agency.
She dreamed of
moving to the big
city of Chicago, so
she did her research
on top advertising
agencies and found
9. Lindsey knew that DRAFTFCB would not
recruit to UK, so she took initiative to find
them!
She chose to skip class two days and travel up to Oxford,
Ohio for the Miami of Ohio Career Fair. Here is where she
was able to personally hand Draft her resume, and receive
one-on-one time with the recruiters.
10. Lindsey was then given
the opportunity to
advance to Draft’s final
round of recruitment.
She was flown up for
a series of in-house
interviews at
DRAFTFCB’s Chicago
office.
11. A month later Lindsey was
given a call from DRAFTFCB
Chicago with the official
offer for a full-time position.
She will start July 2012 as an
Assistant Account Executive.
Lindsey learned that
almost any dream
can become a reality
if you work hard
enough for it.
