3. INTRODUCTION
To intercede means to plead on behalf of
somebody;
to stand in the gap before God for others or
to entreat the Lord on behalf of others.
4. INTRODUCTION CONTD
Standing in the gap is not for personal
needs or personal problems but it is
standing for the land, for the people, for the
church, for the hospital and for the
fellowship.
This is intercession.
5. INTRODUCTION CONTD
The appalling condition of Israel in the
days of Ezekiel, in which God’s Verdict was
that “the land is unholy; it is impure and
ripe for judgement”, although not yet
judged {Ezekiel 22:24}.It meant that
something could still be done.
6. INTRODUCTION CONTD
The present day church is not different;
compromises, lukewarm ness, insincerity,
lack of love, bitterness, prayerlessness,
division, worldliness, hypocrisy, preaching
and acting to please men etc has become
the order of the day.
7. INTRODUCTION CONTD
The situation of things in our land is
nothing to write home about either.
There is indeed an urgent need for men and
women that voluntarily yield themselves to
be used of God to intercede until Zion is
established and Jerusalem made praise on
earth

14. CONCLUSION:
Christ completed the work of sacrifice in
His work of atonement on the cross. But
Christ’s unfinished ministry is the ministry
of intercession.
Every Christian is to be partner priest with
Christ; men and women who will shut
themselves up and pray are indeed rare, oh!
That Heavens will find one in you.
