  Once you’ve gone through that first intro article I EXUBERANTLY recommend the following two articles:

  They are both on the same topic: 10 NetBeans Keyboard Shortcuts that the authors think are valuable. IMHO this is a fabulous way to learn to use the software more effectively. My use of NetBeans is almost entirely through the keyboard, and knowing how to reach its features without the mouse is key to saving time. These lists also serve to filter the overly-numerous features of NB down to those everyone is likely to need. Take 15 min each day to practice using a few shortcuts from these links and you’ll be using NetBeans like a pro in no time.
