The author created an article for a pop magazine by first laying out the text in columns with space for images but decided they did not like that layout. They then moved all the text to one page to allow for a large main image, following magazine conventions. Finally, the author added images and the artist's name to complete the article and make clear who it was about.

1. Creating my article

2. At first I tried to just get my text set out I columns and leave
space to add a title and more images. I decided I didn’t like this
layout though so I changed it all as I carried on.

3. I decided to move all of my text onto one page in order to have
one big image as this is a typical convention in a pop magazine.
It also attracts the audiences attention to read the article as
there’s not too much text.

4. This is my final article, I added the images and also the artists
name making it clear who the article is about.
