  • 2. What Is A Stranger? Is this person a stranger ? Is this person a stranger ? WHY? WHY?
  • 3. What Does A Bad Person Look Like? THIS OR THIS
  • 4. This Person Isn’t Bad… He Is Homeless
  • 5. This is Ted Bundy He is a Very Bad Person He murdered at least 29 people.
  • 6. Not all strangers are bad…but some are and you can’t tell which ones are good and which ones are bad just by looking at them. So you need to be careful around ALL strangers. Just because a stranger looks nice doesn’t mean it’s ok to talk to them.
  • 7. There are some strangers you can trust and it’s OK to talk to them. Police Officer
  • 8. Fireman
  • 9. Teacher
  • 10. Doctor
  • 11. Nurse
  • 12. Store Clerk
  • 13. A Trusted Adult… Is someone you KNOW And FEEL SAFE with.
  • 14. TALKING TO STRANGERS Don’t talk to them unless a trusted adult says it’s OK.
  • 15. TALKING TO STRANGERS If a stranger tries to talk to you, just walk away.
  • 16. TALKING TO STRANGERS If they follow you, go to a trusted adult and tell them a stranger is bothering you.
  • 17. UNLESS A TRUSTED ADULT SAYS IT’S OK…YOU SHOULD NEVER LET A STRANGER… Ask you questions about your name, age, Mom or Dad’s name, where you live, phone number, or other personal information. Ask you to do something that you know is wrong, makes you feel bad, makes you feel scared, or confused. Ask you to do something that will be a secret from everyone else.
  • 18. DON’T LET A STRANGER… Take your picture. Try to play a game with you.
  • 19. TRICKS A BAD PERSON MIGHT USE TO GET YOU IN THEIR VEHICLE Ask you to come close so they can… Show you their nice puppy dog or cute kitten.

  • 24. WHAT THEY REALLY WANT IS… To get you close enough so they can grab you and pull you inside their vehicle.
  • 25. DON’T LET A STRANGER Give you anything. Ask you to help them do or find something. Take you ANYWHERE. Tell you they are a grown up and you have to mind them. Tell you their name and then tell you that they aren’t a stranger anymore.
  • 26. DON’T LET A STRANGER Tell you that Mommy or Daddy has been hurt in an accident and that you have to go with them. If Mommy or Daddy really have been hurt it will be someone you know and trust (not a stranger) who comes to get you.
  • 27. DON’T LET A STRANGER Touch you anywhere but especially in your private places. The places that would be covered by a bathing suit.
  • 28. WHEN SOMEONE YOU TRUST… Tries to touch your private place… Tries to get you to do something wrong… Does something to you that makes you feel bad, scared, or confused… GO TO A DIFFERENT TRUSTED PERSON AND TELL THEM WHAT HAS HAPPENED
  • 29. IF ANYONE DOES SOMETHING BAD TO YOU… Walk away from them. Go straight to a trusted adult and tell what happened.
  • 30. IF YOU CAN’T GET AWAY FROM THE BAD PERSON… Yell (don’t scream or cry) as loud as you can… THIS PERSON IS NOT MY MOMMY/DADDY… THEY ARE TRYING TO HURT ME… SOMEONE HELP ME! Make as much noise as you can so other people will look at you.
  • 31. IF ANYONE DOES SOMETHING BAD TO YOU… Try to remember what the bad person looked like. man woman

  • 33. TALL OR SHORT
  • 34. FAT OR SKINNY
  • 35. Were they walking ?
  • 36. Were they in a…. CAR TRUCK VAN
  • 37. It’s OK to say NOto a stranger, adult, or anyone who tries to touch you in the wrong place, or treats you in a way that makes you feel scared, bad, or confused.
