  MAYOR SWEARENGIN TO JOIN FRESNO FAMILY-OWNED
      ORLOFF JEWELERS DURING RIBBON CUTTING
 CELEBRATION AT THEIR NEW EXPANDED LOCATION IN FIG
                  GARDEN VILLAGE

What: Ribbon cutting celebration to be held on May 9th at 10 a.m. at Orloff Jewelers’ new expanded location
at Fig Garden Village in the previous Warner Co. Jewelers’ location.
When: Wednesday May 9, 2012 at 10 a.m.
Where: Orloff Jewelers store located in Fig Garden Village, 770 W. Shaw Avenue #101, Fresno, CA 93704
Who: James and Mary Ann Orloff, noted jewelry designer Jude Steele of JudeFrances Jewelry, Mayor Ashley
Swearengin, Councilmember Andreas Borgeas, Councilmember Larry Westerlund, Downtown Business Hub
and Fresno Hispanic Chamber of Commerce officials plus other prominent business leaders.
Why: With more than 57 years of service to the Fresno area, the Orloff family is please to open their stunning
new location in Fig Garden Village at the site of the former Warner Co. Jewelers. The new 5,300+ sq. ft.
location makes this Fresno jewelry store, known for its exquisite service & world’s premier jewelry lines, the
largest in Central California.
                                                       Seven new jobs have been added which brings their
                                                       staffing up to 18 full and part-time employees. Three of
                                                       the new hires were previous Warner’s employees.
                                                       Orloff Jewelers is a member of the American Gem
                                                       Society, placing them in the top 5% of jewelry stores in
                                                       the nation. They were recognized as the 2011 Best
                                                       Jewelry Store in America.
                                                       James Orloff is currently the President of the California
                                                       Jewelers Association.
