The tailor made hats, dresses and shirts
The tailor needed to know how to sew and make

The chandler was the
colonial candle maker.
There were two types of
chandlers, tallow
chandlers that used
animal fat and wax
chandlers.
7. Carpenter
The carpenter made
anything out of wood but
rarely made designs.
They built houses and
roofs for people's homes.
8. Cooper
A cooper is a barrel
maker
The cooper's family
owned a business and
passed the business
down in his family

10. Wig maker
The wig maker used
animal grease and hair
nets to make the wigs.
A famous wig hairstyle
was called a lovelock
which was a side ponytail
with a curl.
