                                                    Our client is a B2B Commerce group which has e-commerce solutions built
                                                     upon an ATG Commerce framework and products
                                                    HCL is involved in developing ATG Projects for its B2B and B2C Portals,
                                                     and our client expects to utilize our deep expertise on ATG to enhance its
                                                     commerce solutions, and also looks to us for thought, product and process
                                                     leadership

THE SOLUTION
   HCL created a leadership team to drive the vision through the engagement
   Participated and provided suggestions during architecture and design discussions
   Took complete ownership of certain critical areas and worked on an end-to-end delivery model – from
    capturing requirements through to deployment
   HCL’s key contributions include:
            Complete Architecture, Design and Development of the Profile and Catalog Management Tool
            Re-architecture of the existing Pricing/Promotions Framework
            Re-design of site navigation
            Remodeling/Re-factoring of Premier applications with respect to the customer profile
            Premier application migration from ATG 7.1 to 2006.3




RESULTS / BENEFITS
   Redesigning the Pricing Engine for the Premier Site resulted in the throughput increasing by double
   The Profile Management Tool has helped the customer business team (merchandise) to increase their
    productivity by 2-3 times
   Reduced vendor management overheads and a significant number of personnel
   Plans have been drawn up for the utilization of new ATG products through the
              Implementation of ATG CA, Merchandising and Serchandising
              Migration to ATG 2007.1

HCL enables B2B and B2C portals through ATG for a B2B Commerce Group BACKGROUND  Our client is a B2B Commerce group which has e-commerce solutions built upon an ATG Commerce framework and products  HCL is involved in developing ATG Projects for its B2B and B2C Portals, and our client expects to utilize our deep expertise on ATG to enhance its commerce solutions, and also looks to us for thought, product and process leadership CHALLENGES / OBJECTIVES SNAPSHOT  Usability and performance issues with the B2B (Premier) and B2C (Consumer Portal)  Vertical: Telecom  Performance issues in applications due to un-optimized design and usage of  Service Areas: Application ATG OOTB features Roadmap, Architecture &  Ongoing maintenance of the Premier application Consulting, Application Design & Development, Application  Lack of Product Vision – All focus on projects at hand Migration, Production Support, Application  Business' High Operating Cost due to the absence of the right business Maintenance focused tool – SLAs off by weeks/months  Technologies: ATG Commerce, ATG Repository , Weblogic, Oracle, SVN, J2EE  Frameworks: ATG Commerce Framework, Profile and Promotional Framework

THE SOLUTION  HCL created a leadership team to drive the vision through the engagement  Participated and provided suggestions during architecture and design discussions  Took complete ownership of certain critical areas and worked on an end-to-end delivery model – from capturing requirements through to deployment  HCL’s key contributions include:  Complete Architecture, Design and Development of the Profile and Catalog Management Tool  Re-architecture of the existing Pricing/Promotions Framework  Re-design of site navigation  Remodeling/Re-factoring of Premier applications with respect to the customer profile  Premier application migration from ATG 7.1 to 2006.3 RESULTS / BENEFITS  Redesigning the Pricing Engine for the Premier Site resulted in the throughput increasing by double  The Profile Management Tool has helped the customer business team (merchandise) to increase their productivity by 2-3 times  Reduced vendor management overheads and a significant number of personnel  Plans have been drawn up for the utilization of new ATG products through the  Implementation of ATG CA, Merchandising and Serchandising  Migration to ATG 2007.1
