The city of Gautier is proposing a $7 million bond issue to fund several infrastructure projects including improving Martin Bluff Road, building a new fire station on Highway 57, resurfacing streets, improving water lines, and purchasing or renovating public buildings. The monthly cost of the bond issue for homeowners would be $11.27 for a $250,000 home or $5.23 for a $100,000 home.

3. Fire Station – $1 million to build new Fire Station on Highway 57 – This would help to reduce the cost of fire insurance.

4. Streets - $1.5 million to resurface/overlay various streets within the city – neighborhood streets

5. Water Line - $1.2 million to reduce the discoloration of the water in the City System. This will make our water clear.

11. As you can see the monthly cost for tanning is $22.95. That is more than the monthly cost on a home valued at $250,000. The monthly cost for the bond issue on that same home is $11.27.
