2. Men's2009-2010 Hair Trends: Styles, Cuts, Colors All fashion trends are cyclical, and in recent years have gradually modernised the looks of the 20th Century and planted them firmly in the 21st. And so too it is with men's hair trends in 2009: it's out with the new, and in with the old. Or at least an old hair style with a new twist.
3. Men's2009-2010 Hair Trends: Styles, Cuts, Colors 2009 sees men's hair styles fall into two distinct categories: school boy and rocker. But while the rocker look is certainly a 20th Century creation, the resulting hair style finds its roots (if you'll pardon the pun) distinctly in 19th Century Britain.
4. Men's2009-2010 Hair Trends: Styles, Cuts, Colors And so it is in 2009; while the odd 2009 runway collection featured something akin to a grunge revival, the majority of us will live out 2009 with a refined, classically inspired hair cut. http://www.fashionising.com/trends/b--Mens-2009-2010-Hair-Trends-Styles-Cuts-Colors-1225.html
5. Men's brooches: a dandy accessory Written by Daniel P Dykes http://www.fashionising.com/trends/b--Mens-brooches-a-dandy-accessory-1548.html
6. Men's brooches: a dandy accessory There aren't all that many fashion accessories for men when one considers the sheer volume that exist for women. And of those that do exist, quite often you find that they're heavily associated with a sub-culture or movement that you're simply not interested in associating yourself with. Brooches for men are, however, one of the few men's accessories which can cross the sub-culture divides, are perfect for both Spring/Summer and Autumn (Fall)/Winter seasons, and are slowly making a come-back.
7. Men's brooches: a dandy accessory The Styles As if taking their cues from the Cool Britannia revival, the most popular of men's brooches take their cues from vintage Anglo-Saxon, English and Scottish brooches, and old-world motifs such as stag heads. Where To Buy The men's brooches from the above picture, courtesy of Brandish, are available from the likes of Urweg, Yoox, Bblessing and Cooper-Hewitt. You can also do some hunting for the men's brooches from Gucci's Autumn (Fall)/Winter 2008 collection, which have easily been amongst the best to hit the catwalks. Personally I'm a fan of brooches of the vintage kind; for which you can turn to both vintage stores and eBay.
