  3. 3. Step one <ul><li>Roll out the ball of clay into a pancake about diameter of your rolling pin or slab roller. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Step 2 <ul><li>Cut a circle out of the clay with something pointy </li></ul>
  5. 5. Step 3 <ul><li>Lift up your circle and smooth off all of the edges and surfaces with your rib. </li></ul>
  6. 6. step4 <ul><li>draw your design on the outer edge of the circle for the rolling stamp. use the large flat surface for a push stamp. </li></ul>
  7. 7. Step 5 <ul><li>Dry out your stamp and then gently brush off any extra clay with your fingers The dry stamps can be fired to the first firing in a kiln. The first firing if you would like to glaze apply glaze and fire one more time then you have a ceramic stamp </li></ul>
