Creating your Cover
Your notebook cover should contain
the following:
• Your name
• Your fictional family name
• Your family crest
• Your family name on the spine
• A family slogan and summary.
• A short paragraph that summarizes your
skills, place of origin, and overall
character
Creating a family crest
A family crest:
• Reflects the beliefs and values of your family
• Has a shield which is either a triangle, heart or
diamond in the center
• Has a banner at the bottom which has the family
motto. Example “Honor above all.”
• Has a symbol at the top either an animal or object
• Is a summary of the character.
