1) Even before you install your artificial grass, it is important to order the
right quantity. Make a rough drawing of the area where you would
like to install fake grass. Check out the width of the roll of grass that
you are planning to install. Based on this, calculate your requirement
so that there is minimum wastage.
2) The next step is to prepare the base where the installation has to be
done.
a. You should start with removing the natural grass or sod from
that area. Then, level out the area so that it is smooth.
b. Now, you can prepare the base with fine crushed granite or
crushed stone aggregate with a thickness of 3 to 4 inches.
c. Top this up with 1 inch of stone dust and level with a rake.
d. Now, compact the base with a compactor. Spray water and
compact the base.
3) Once the base is ready, you can cover the base with a Weed control
fabric like our WeedMark.

4) Then lay the artificial grass on top of the base. Once you lay the grass,
it will be a good idea to anchor it down firmly at the edges by using
high quality nails like our NailMark. You should put nails 6 inches
apart and about 2 inches inside from the edges so that it will hold well.
5) Always lay the turf from one side, so that you can stretch it from the
other side to keep it tight. Also, be careful to lay the turf pieces in
such a way that all the blades are going in the same direction so that
your turf matches up.
6) When you cut the grass roll to achieve the desired shape, you may
need to seam the pieces of turf together. Do this with high quality
glue and tape like our BondMark and TapeMark. You can also use
nails spaced out at 6 inches when seaming two pieces of grass
together.
7) You must let the grass set for up to 48 hours.
8) Last but not the least, use a rake to fluff the synthetic turf so that the
blades are raised giving your fake grass a great professional look.
