usually affects how a person feels or acts for a short
time.
o Not a disease more of a bunch of symptoms that
affect the brain.

Partial

5. o Electrical discharge from limited area of brain.
o Simple Partial Seizures
• Depend on what area of the brain the seizure is
coming from
• If different seizure follows these are called an aura
o Complex Partial Seizure
• Unaware
• Stares blankly
• May need to be removed from danger

6. o electrical discharge that involves both sides of the
brain at once.
o Tonic-Clonic- How people see seizures

7. o Atonic – “Without Tone”
o Absence

9. o Roll Person on to side
o Keep persons airway opened
o Loosen tight clothing
o Remove anything that can be harmful

10. o Keep the person from moving
o Put stuff in mouth
o Move them unless they’re in danger
o Don’t try to stop them
