Exodus 22:16, The Dowry For Virgins
• Remember Chuck Smith called dowries
“alimony in advance.” It’s to protect divorced
women, and make grooms aware of their
extreme value.
• Exodus 22:16 "If a man seduces a virgin who is
not engaged, and lies with her, he must pay a
dowry for her to be his wife.

Exodus 22:17, Why Pay If Dad Refuses?
• Exodus 22:17 "If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he
shall pay money equal to the dowry for virgins.
• Not being a virgin would seriously limit her chances of finding an
acceptable husband. So she would most likely remain at home
forever.
• Remember Amnon and Tamar, 2 Samuel 13:12 “But she answered
him, "No, my brother, do not violate me, for such a thing is not
done in Israel; do not do this disgraceful thing! 13 "As for me, where
could I get rid of my reproach? And as for you, you will be like one
of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, please speak to the king, for he
will not withhold me from you."

Where Is The USA Headed?

In the United States, the Bible can no

• In Canada, a 12-year-old girl sued her parents, and won, the right to go on
a school trip that her dad had forbidden because she was grounded.
Attorneys were supplied to the child under provisions of the "UN Rights of
a Child" that Canada passed.
• In the United States, since the Bible can no longer be used as the definer
of sin, the slippery slope continues to get even worse. What the Bible calls
"perversion" is protected by law in the United States. Homosexuality is not
only allowed, it is mandated. We've murdered over 50 million innocent

the minute. The most dangerous place for a black female to be is in her

With homosexuals and abortions legally secure, the green light is on for

between blood brothers and sisters.
• 20 states have now removed or watered down laws forbidding sex with
animals. Well why not? Who is to say it's wrong?
If you can't use the Bible to define what's good and bad, then you're back
to "it's only wrong if you think it's wrong." Or, "Just because it's wrong for
you doesn't mean it's wrong for me." All from the pit of hell.

Fridays" high school group is afforded equal protection and given Federal
Funds to protect and promote their unbiblical lifestyles. …

your own home, you are free to go--unless prosecutors
can allege that your conduct caused injury, serious
injury, or constituted "torture". In that case, you could
be charged under the general animal cruelty statute.

Exodus 22:25, Charging Interest
• Exodus 22:25 "If you lend money to My people, to the poor
among you, you are not to act as a creditor to him; you
shall not charge him interest.
• There used to be a Christian financial consultant who had a
radio ministry and on it he promoted the idea that
Christians should not charge interest to other Christians
based on this verse. I wrote them a letter, years
ago, explaining to him that we were to return like value for
like value, that it would be a sin to borrow five good loaves
of bread and return instead five moldy loaves. And that
would be the equivalent if Christians in this day of rampant
inflation loaned money and did not charge interest. I never
heard him promote the idea of not charging interest again.

Exodus 22:28, Cursing A Ruler

your people.

Therefore he who resists authority has opposed the

Exodus 23:7, Innocent Until Shown Guilty

celebrate a feast to Me….the Feast of
Unleavened Bread; …the Feast of the Harvest
…the first fruits [Feast of Firstfruits, Feast of Weeks] …the
Feast of the Ingathering [Feast of Tabernacles or Booths] at
the end of the year… 17 "Three times a year all
your males shall appear before the Lord GOD.

Exodus 23:19,

fruits of your soil into the house of the LORD
your God. "You are not to boil a young goat in
the milk of its mother.
• This is a big deal in keeping kosher. Yet;
• Abraham in Genesis 18:8 He took curds and
milk and the calf which he had prepared, and
placed it before them; and he was standing by
them under the tree as they ate.

army of the Egyptians…and brought the army of
the Egyptians into confusion.

was a deadly confusion throughout the city; the
hand of God was very heavy there.

Exod 24:8, The Blood Of The Covenant
