I. OBJECTIVES:
After the period, 75 % of the students will be able to: (cognitive, affective & psychomotor)
a. identify the expressions for agreement and disagreement;
b. express agreement and disagreement; and,
c. share significant experiences about the topic.

C. Motivation:
-->Students are given a piece of paper.
-->Students are asked to write a free statement of anything they like.
--> Students exchange the paper to other students.
-->Some students are asked to read the paper and give responses to the statement
whether she or he agrees or disagrees with the statement (when a student give
response, other students listen carefully and identify whether the response is
agreement and disagreement.
IV. LEARNING EXPERIENCES:
A. ACTIVITY:
--> Discussion on the expressions used for agreeing and disagreeing (visuals)
--> Dialogue
--> Group Activity
-Students are grouped into six. Each group will create a dialogue using the
expressions for disagreement and agreement in crafting a short conversation.
2. Agree on the following:
Group 1- War should never be used to resolve international disputes.
Group 2- The best place for animals to live is in their natural habitat.
Group 3- Listen to you partner and then agree with everything he / she says, give
reasons.
Disagree on the following:
Group 4 -Marijuana should be legalized.
Group 5- Engaging in a relationship is OK for high school students
Group 6-Money is more important than love.
