o The outside of your heart is made up of a really
strong muscle to help pump your blood around
your body.
o Your blood pumps from your Atrium to your
Ventricle.
o Small valves beat with your
heart so your blood can flow.
o The blood collected from the left hand side of
the heart is from the lungs, and is bright red.
o The blood collected from the right hand side
of the heart has carbon dioxide in it and is carried back to the lungs for
more oxygen, this is a darker red.

The heart is the main organ in your body and you
couldn’t possibly live without it. It pumps all the blood
around your body, and you can’t live without blood
