2. Food
Indian food is a lot more spicy than here in
Spain. The most famous food in India is
Birianni, that’s made of rice and chicken
with onion and sauce all mixed. It’s very
spicy but they eat it every Sunday because
it’s holiday for them.
I think it’s similar to our Paella though we
don’t put any sauce and it usually has
shellfish instead of chicken, but we also eat
it on Sundays or holidays.
3. Sports
The sports practise in India are very
similar to the ones we practise here
but they do a lot of different sports
and they prefer tennis and badminton
instead of football or basketball.
In India all the people do sports, but
here it depends of the person.
5. Traditional dresses
Either Sarees and Sevillana dresses
are for women.They're long and
colorful but they have nothing else in
common.
The Sevillana dress has frills and has
dots all over it.
Sarees can be of one or two pieces
and they can include a veil. It has a
skirting board too.
6. Baratha Nathya
It's the Indian traditional dance.
They pray and then dance for the
God Nataraj.
This dance has 10 adavu. Adavu
is the foot work of the performer.
7. Flamenco
It’s an Spanish music and dance style
popular in the South of Spain.
It has a similar step to adavu that is
hitting the floor with your feet.
8. Pondicherry and Vilanova i la Geltrú
Vilanova and Pondicherry have the
same meaning that is “New Village”.
The two of them have French
influence because Pondicherry was a
French colony and Vilanova because
our language is similar.
