The jury found that the former employee of Roscoe’s Chicken N’ Waffles was
unlawfully harassed based upon his race, sex, or both, and also that he was
terminated because of his race, and because of his complaints about racial
discrimination, racial harassment, or sexual harassment, which was occurring in
the workplace.
Providing brief insight into this particular racial discrimination and wrongful

that Mr. Beasley was terminated do to his race, even though Roscoe’s Chicken N’

and Mr. Franck were able to convince the jury to award Mr. Beasley $1.6 million in
damages.”
The Plaintiff Daniel Beasley is African American. Mr. Beasley alleged that
Hispanic employees were being given privileges that black employees were not
getting. Mr. Beasley also alleged that employees in the workplace were using
racial slurs and epithets, which created a hostile work environment based upon
race. Mr. Beasley alleges that he complained to the HR department and the
2. company’s African American owner, but nothing was done to stop the unlawful
working conditions. Mr. Beasley alleges that his complaints resulted in him being
terminated. When Mr. Beasley contacted the attorneys at the Law Offices of

Mr. Beasley’s case could be proven to a jury. At the trial the jury found for Mr.
Beasley on all his claims against Roscoe’s House of Chicken N’ Waffles, and all
