Deadline for all nomination letters is January 14th by 4:00 p.m. Deadline will not be
extended this year. Last year, we had 28 nominations and students from Grand Saline,
Edgewood, and Fruitvale. This year, we are including kids from all over Van Zandt
County including Grand Saline, Edgewood, Fruitvale, Edom, Ben Wheeler, Van, Martins
Mill, Canton, and Wills Point School Districts.

Please be advised that the panel of judges will be from outside Van Zandt County and
will not know the nominees. They will read the nomination forms and the answers to the
questions on this form that you have written, and this information will be the only
information used to determine the winners. If you have additional comments about your
nominee, please write them in the space below:
