Short listed for The Grocer Branded Excellence Awards 2008 and 2009 Consumer response to the branding: ‘ There was a high level of interest in this Jersey Dairy Bio Live Yogurt pre-trial, which over three-quarters of the sample expected to notice in-store. The “colourful” packaging emphasised the product’s Jersey provenance, which appealed to respondents, as it had associations with good quality and indulgence.’* ‘ The packaging was attractive and highlighted the yogurt’s Jersey provenance, boosting its image appeal and raising expectations. 66% of the sample thought they would notice this yogurt in the chiller cabinet.’#

We do not import any milk or cream for use in our product range. Our application for Protected Designation of Origin for Jersey Butter is already helping to lift our profile in Britain both as a brand and also as producers of natural, genuine Jersey Dairy products. This has potential to deliver a positive impact on all the range.
