Frigidaire FGIC13 14 Portable Induction Cooktop is a decent unit, when you first put the pot on
it. It makes a sharp, piercing sound, that soon goes away. It heats up water for tea or for pasta
extremely quickly, however it does not do it in 50 seconds, more like 2.5 minutes which is about
15% faster than a gas (propane) stove top at full tilt. And after you shut Frigidaire FGIC13 14
Portable Induction Cooktop off, fans run to cool it down for about a minute. We dont have
anything to compare it to, but at this price its a good enough giving you an alternative to gas.
