Editor's Notes
SO much positive impact! So much happiness and so many choices! And while we are pleased, we are not satisfied! Though we’ve had dazzling growth! We are still a start up! We are still in our infancy. We have grand ambitions- and we are tiny relative to our dreams. I’m excited about the day when we have thriving team meetings in every city, but we don’t, not yet. We still have 26 states and 6 provinces ( that’s half of north America!) WITHOUT DIRECTORS
This is our destiny to be a global multi billion dollar fashion brand that changes the lives of women around the world. Of this I am absolutely certain. I have NO DOUBT. And so the question for you is, what role will you play. How will you fuel our growth and how will our growth fuel yours? How bold will you be? I hope very bold! As a brand ambassador or as a platinum director, you are appreciated and what you do here matters. Because everything and everyone makes an impact!
I’ve often said there as as many definitions of success as there are stylists! And it’s true! But there is something each person will have in common. There is so much opportunity with Stella & Dot! But the important thing to remember is this is YOUR platform to run the business YOU want to! You define success with stella & dot, because we’re just as good at helping someone earn $300 a month as we are 3,000 or ever 30,000! Our Highest paycheck in one month this time in last year was $33,000 and we gasped at that! Since then, , it’s been over $75,000 in a month! IN A MONTH! Over 400,000 in a year! We created stunning professional earning opportunities! It was always our dream to elevate the opportunity for the flex entrepreneur. Well take a look! Look at these earnings~

Results - Doubled team in time between Spring Tour 2011 and Hoopla 2011 Charity Bohuslavizki . Sponsored 10 in all of 2010. Now, in 2011 sponsored 31 to date in approx. same time frame. How? Be open to learning & trying new things. Be open to DOING. "According to Dave Kohl, professor emeritus at Virginia Tech., people who regularly write down their goals earn nine times as much over their lifetimes as the people who don't, and yet 80% of Americans say they don't have goals. Sixteen percent do have goals, but don't write them down. Less than four percent write down their goals, and fewer than once percent actually review them on an ongoing basis. Guess which one percent?" - taken from the book Where Will You Be Five Years from Today? by Dan Zandra 20 mins Workshop – Stylists each work independently for 5 minutes to complete Goal Setting Workshop sheet and then review with workshop partner. 10 minutes recap – Facilitator select 1 volunteer from each table to share answers with group

Sponsoring 15 mins intro (3 slides) & Worksheet part 1: Discuss questions on slide with group to establish mindset of sponsoring and have stylists complete section 1 of worksheet
Sponsoring really is a system – just like booking or taking orders. There are 3 steps.
Think of yourself as a talent scout! Who are you scouting? As we review this slide, let ’ s all make a list. You know people you can call tonight and sponsor them tomorrow and we ’ re going to walk right through it so you can. Who are you looking for? Listen for hints: (Ask crowd for hints they have heard. Add to your list people who have ever asked you these questions) How many trunk shows do you do a week? Did you buy all of this? I love all of the jewelry! I can ’ t keep up with the expenses of a teenager. I am tired of my job. A job with kids is tough. Think Diversity: Age, Lifestyle, geography, ethnicity (Add to your list someone from each of these diverse groups) Broaden your geography: Think of a 2 hr radius from your home. Who do you know in another town? ( Add these people to your list). Call to book trunk shows. Explain that you have no one on your team in that area and you are looking to build. You ’ ll be looking when you come to their trunk show – who do they know?
Step 2: 15 minutes - Review this slide, then complete worksheet part 2: role play offering sponsoring to a hostess, guest and acquaintance with your partner
15 minutes – Practice your sponsoring conversation and how to overcome common concerns with your partner. Get ready to volunteer in 15 minutes!
Final 15 mins – Sponsoring Game show Ask 4 volunteers to come to front and share a sponsoring conversation with you. Facilitator gives objection, volunteer answers it. Prize for volunteers – Mini Look Books
To connect, you might choose: 1:1 in person or on phone, focused on booking & sponsoring skills or 1: many on a 1 hr “Best of NST” Conference call (often offered weekly, rotated amongst team leaders)
10 mins – Recap with Roleplay. 2 volunteers to come up and roleplay 2 scenarios chosen by majority. Prize for volunteers – Mini Look Books
Let’s look back to your goals from a few hours ago, when we began today. Now, take action
