    E-books are electronic versions of books.
    They can be downloaded from many websites and their text can be displayed on a computer screen, on e-readers, and other mobile devices like smart phones.

    Digital Rights Media: A way publishers protect copyright & prevent pirated copying, burning, distribution.
    Overdrive uses DRM to limit E-book use but also limits which devices work with Overdrive.
    Other e-book stores also use DRM
