I have made a poster that will
go on the Facebook page. I
have done this to advertise
the finals game against ISF
I have learnt that a white
background just doesn’t cut it
for a poster
I will add more information
about the event

changed by doing it?
I changed the
background because I
want the poster to be
more eye catching
I learnt that the text on a
poster needs to contrast
well with the background
to stand out
I will change the font
color to some sharper
colors.

I used sharper colors to
contrast against the
background so the text is
more attractive and will
be read
I learnt that logos that are
recognized are a lot more
useful than typing out the
school name because it is
more simple
My think changing the
“come support” to a more
interesting line would
help people remember.

I changed the slogan to “Play
hard after working hard” to
show how hard the team has
worked to get to play in the
finals.
I learnt that slogans are a
good way of making people
remember your events from
posters.
I like the idea of adding a
darkening cinematic effect to
my background so everything
stands out even more.

Finally, I added a cinematic
effect on the background that
I learnt from a Photoshop
tutorial because it makes
everything on the poster
stand out better.
I learnt that you need to have
a simple, dark and subtle
background on a poster in
order to make the important
parts of your poster be eye
catching.
