2. I have looked a few general billboards and the main codes and conventions of
billboard adverts are:
 Title which usually states what the product is.
 Main image which will feature the product.
 Bold colour schemes which help to help increase surveillance and sales of the
product.
 Text which will explain the product.
 ‘sans serif’ font which is easy to read.
A billboard (also called a hoarding in the UK and many other parts of the world) is a
large outdoor advertising structure (a billing board), typically found in high-traffic
areas such as alongside busy roads. Billboards present large advertisements to
passing pedestrians and drivers. Typically showing large, ostensibly witty slogans,
and distinctive visuals, billboards are highly visible in the top designated market
