First Lego League
FLL was born in 1999.
FLL differs from FTC and FRC in two ways.
• Only Students between the ages of 9 and 14 can compete.
• Teams consist of no more than 10 students.( It’s same with
FTC, but FRC can have up to 20 students per team. )
Teams sign up during the year typically when school start. To join the
competition, teams pay a fee to FIRST purchase the basic FLL competition kit
that contains a special mat and Lego pieces.
