15. Why do I need to enter my birthdate?
The first time a student places a hold
they will be prompted to enter their
date of birth.
Students under age 13 will be required
to enter their parent / guardian's
email address.
The parent / guardian may opt to have
the student's email address removed.
In this case, the student will not be able
to place further holds until the age of 13.
If the parent / guardian never replies,
the student will receive an email when
the title is available for check out.

16. What’s an Adobe ID?
Upon installation of Adobe Digital Editions
or the OverDrive Media Console mobile
app, users will be prompted to authorize
their computer or device with an Adobe ID.
Authorizing with an Adobe ID
allows a user to access a title on
up to 6 computers or devices.
