Why do I need to enter my birthdate?  The first time a student places a hold they will be prompted to enter their date of birth.  Students under age 13 will be required to enter their parent / guardian's email address.  The parent / guardian may opt to have the student's email address removed.  In this case, the student will not be able to place further holds until the age of 13.  If the parent / guardian never replies, the student will receive an email when the title is available for check out.     • 16. What’s an Adobe ID? Upon installation of Adobe Digital Editions or the OverDrive Media Console mobile app, users will be prompted to authorize their computer or device with an Adobe ID.
