Other topics may be proposed and will be included after consideration by
the Scientific Committee
The objectives of the event are:
to bring together experts in the field to present the state-of-the-art in
Phraseology and Paremiology;
to show new trends in phraseological and paremiological studies;
to encourage research in the field of Phraseology and Paremiology,
promoting the debate about theories and research methodologies related
to language and its role in the construction of knowledge;
to promote the exchange, discussion, and exchange of experiences
between national and foreign teachers and researchers;
to search for new alternatives to include phraseological and
paremiological aspects in the process of language teaching.
2. to prepare an agenda for applied research in Phraseology and
Paremiology.
to encourage scientific production in the field of Phraseology and
Paremiology through joint projects and publications;
to encourage the dissemination of knowledge and models in the area of
Phraseology and Paremiology in Brazil.
