Lots of Deed Done By Dera Sacha Sauda With Under Guidance of Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji( Guru Ji)

SELFLESS SERVICE IS SERVICE TO GOD
Love of God is not just a feeling but always involves showing love for God by selfless service to God’s creation. The only path to salvation is by rendering selfless service to God’s creation. “Seva brings you nearer to God Through seva, you realize that all are waves of the ocean of Divinity. “When you consider work as Divine service, you can do it anywhere, at any time. It is an offering to God, an offering to the Truth. Seva is uplifting your own Self, your own people, your own world. It is embracing God’s creation”.
SHAH SATNAM JI GREEN ‘S’ WELFARE FORCE
One of the foundational teachings of the Dera Sacha Sauda is Seva: selfless service offered to God. Under Guruji’s inspiration, the sadh-sangat of Dera Sacha Sauda and members of Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force carry out community welfare activities on a regular basis. Donating blood, and fasting for one day in a week and donating the saved food to the needy are two such activities which are encouraged by Guruji.
Many Relief Operation taken by Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force
Relief to Quake Hit Areas of Gujarat, 2000
The remembrance of the terrible quake that struck Gujarat on January 26, 2000 is vividly etched in the minds of the nation. When the devil of death swooped upon thousands of innocents; houses crumbled like castles of sand. The disorder and chaos, the mangled and crushed bodies, and the wails and travails of those who survived, is a tale so distressing that words are rendered speechless. Hazoor Maharaj ji led from the front - to console and heal, and put meaning into the lives of the survivors. A scientific survey and a systematic aid operation followed. In 42 villages, ration depots were setup; thousands of tents were erected, and over 1 lac blankets distributed. The Dera achieved the unique distinction amongst the innumerable organisations from all over the globe to reconstruct the first village and also demonstrate the first urban prototype of a quake resistant house. No less than 5000 volunteers accompanied Guruji, whilst several times the number waited in sirsa for their turn*(return is also possible).

Relief to Tsunami Areas of South India, 2004
A worst natural disaster in the form of cyclone was experienced on the ill-fated day of 26th December 2004. More than one lac people were drowned and washed away by the enormous high tide waves witnessed in the parts of Indian ocean affecting Indonesia, Thailand, Ceylon and India. The severe sting of devastation was observed in the coastal areas of India - in Kerala, Tamilnadu, Orissa and group of Andeman-Nicobar Islands. The loss of life and property was terrible and beyond the capacity of all human expectations. During this period of intense grief and suffering a timely relief operation was launched by Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa (Haryana) in the worst-damaged areas of Andeman-Nicobar Islands and and Nagapatnam of Tamilnadu state.
Relief to Draught Areas of Rajasthan
Over the last few years, drought has become a vicious cycle for Rajasthan. Failed crops lead to millions of people crossing over to extreme poverty and starvation. The large convoys of fodder laden trucks ready to move from Sirsa for drought relief operations. This, in turn, triggered a wave of migration from the worst affected districts like Churu, Taranagar, Barmer, Jaisalmer etc. Millions of herds of cattle perished since their owners, having reduced to penury, could not feed them. Under this, Dera Sacha Sauda & its devotees provided them 2700 trucks of straw from 2000 to 2003.When Guruji heard of this, a massive drought relief intervention was planned. And the Sangat (devotees) responded to this call with boundless enthusiasm. Needless to say, Saints are concerned with the well being of all God’s creations.

  • Dera Sacha Sauda A True World
  • About Dera Sacha Sauda
    • Sacha Sauda is not a new religion, cult, sect or wave. Sacha Sauda is that spiritual activity by which God is worshiped under the guidance of the Satguru. This path of God realization has been coming down ages since the earliest times. Many saints and seers incarnated in this mortal world and inspired us to do this Sacha Sauda and became the guiding lights of spirituality. These saints and seers were knower of this supreme science and tried to make this mystical subject easy for the common man. One such torchbearer of spirituality was Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj who did the most noble of services to mankind by establishing in 1948 the spiritual college of Dera Sacha Sauda in order to save people from the complexities, malpractices and superficial rituals that had been afflicting religion and for the salvation of souls.
  • What Is Dera Sacha Sauda
    • Dera Sacha Sauda is a spiritual institution based in Sirsa, Haryana. A method of meditation that has come down ages through a tradition of saints and that truly puts man on the path that leads to God is taught here free of cost. The method is very simple, yet extremely effective. One gains in self-confidence with the practice of it. Peace of mind in its truest sense, which is difficult to attain to in today’s world, is another benefit of its practice. Also, regular and diligent practice of this meditation helps in the cure of many of today’s deadly diseases like cancer, heart ailments, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, high/low blood pressure, etc. Millions have tested and derived benefit from this meditation. The ashram owns large agricultural lands around it and extensive farming is done on it through hard labour. The money earned through the harvest is used in the welfare of mankind and to run the organization. There are more than 2,25,00,000 people around the world who are followers of this institution. Dera Sacha Sauda is an incomparable example of love, brotherhood, and goodwill between different communities and religions.

  • Work Of Dera Sacha Sauda
    • Relief Material for 20,000 Families
    • Saharsa (September 22, 2008):
    • Dera Sacha Sauda’s volunteers serving in the flood-affected regions of Bihar have to date supplied rations, clothes and medicines to more than 20,000 affected families.  Some of these regions are those where even the government had failed to reach and where the people were starving.  Providing details on this, Bahadur Singh Insan, representative of the Dera’s 25-member committee from Delhi and a member of the Dera’s Shah Satnamji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force which is currently serving in Bihar’s flood-affected areas, said that the situation in many villages of Bihar’s Saharsa and Madhopura districts is still very grim.  The flood waters are still stagnant in many villages and the roads that lead to these villages are still cut off from the rest of the world.  The only way to reach these villages is by boat.  Bahadur Singh said that the Dera’s volunteers, who had come to Bihar’s flood-affected areas with relief material after receiving the blessings of Hazur Pita Sant Gurmeet Ram Raheem Singh Ji Insan, are enthusiastically participating in relief work in spite of the dangers involved.  He said that they had made Kosi Colony in Vaidyayanathpur, which is about eight kilometers from Saharsa, their main relief distribution centre.  Bahadur Singh said that the volunteers were doing relief work in the tehsils of Sonbarsa, Sangheshwar, Patarghat and Haripura in the district of Saharsa; and in the village of Panjog and other areas in the district of Madhopura.  The volunteers move about in boats carrying out surveys in these villages about flood-affected families and relief material is delivered through these boats to the homes of the affected.  He said that the ADM of Saharsa, R. Lakshman, expressed his gratitude towards Guruji on behalf of the administration for coming to their aid in their hour of need.  He appreciated the fact that Dera Sacha Sauda was handing out rations, clothes and medicines, and donating blood to the flood victims, and he said that by helping the flood victims the volunteers were giving them a new lease of life.   The victims themselves seemed to be touched by the spirit of humanitarianism of the volunteers, who had come from faraway Sirsa to help them.  On this occasion, along with Bahadur Singh the following representatives of the Dera’s 25-member committees of various states were present:  Raj Kumar, Deewan Singh and Rajendra Ghochi (Himachal Pradesh); Palaram (Delhi); Gurcharan (Haryana); Ramphal (Uttar Pradesh); and other volunteers.
  • Blood Donation Even While Doing Relief Work
    • Saharsa (September 22, 2008):   The volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda are donating blood even while carrying out relief work in the flood-affected areas of Bihar.  Yesterday a blood donation camp was organized in a hospital in Saharsa in which the volunteers donated 50 units of blood.  The medical officer in charge of the blood bank in the hospital, Dr. Diwakar Prasad, said that this was the biggest blood donation camp organised in the area after the flood.  He expressed his gratitude to the volunteers for donating blood.  More than 100 volunteers of the Dera and its followers from Bihar and Nepal had come forward to donate blood at the hospital, but because of the fact that there was no facility to store extra blood in the hospital, only blood from 50 volunteers was taken.  In this blood donation camp ten volunteer doctors of the Dera from Bihar also provided their services.  The ADM of the area, Ramswarup Singh, arrived at the blood donation camp and expressed his gratitude to the donors.   It is noteworthy that even before this the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda had donated 18 units of blood for the flood victims during the past few weeks.
  • Dera Sacha Sauda to the Aid of Bihar’s Flood Victims
    • Saharsa (September 20, 2008):   Dera Sacha Sauda is helping out the flood victims of Bihar in their hour of need.  About 150 volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda, in spite of the dangers involved, are currently surveying the flood-affected areas and going from door to door distributing rations.  The volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force, a wing of Dera Sacha Sauda, have now reached Saharsa which is the most affected district, and are making available rations, clothes, utensils, medicines, etc. to the affected families.  Bahadur Singh Insan, who is a member of the Dera’s 25-member committee from Delhi and who is leading the team of volunteers, provided details on the relief work being carried out.  He said that walking on the path of humanitarianism shown by Hazur Pita Sant Gurmeet Ram Raheem Singh Ji Insan, 150 volunteers of Shah Satnamji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force are serving the flood victims.  Among these volunteers 100 were sent by Guruji himself from Sirsa with relief material, while 40 are from Bihar and 10 from Nepal.  Bahadur Singh said that in the past few days the volunteers had, after carrying out a survey in Saharsa district’s Patarghat tehsil, distributed rations and other materials to 400 flood-affected people.  He said that the relief material supplied to each family consisted of 20 kg of rice, 5 kg of dal, 1 kg of salt, 1 kg of chili powder, 1 kg of turmeric, four packets of biscuits, mineral water, saris, new warm clothes, utensils and medicines.  He said that before the material is distributed, the flood-affected village is surveyed by the volunteers.  After that the affected family is given a ‘pass’.  Then the selected families come in boats to the relief center and they are given the rations.  Bahadur Singh said that this area of Bihar is considered sensitive and there are often conflicts between different communities.  Because of this the relief material sent by the government was lying undistributed and unused.   But in the case of the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda, not only do they distribute relief material, they also make sure the recipients reach home safely.  He said that the ire of the flood had not yet abated and that there were dams breached at many places and the flow of water was still quite furious.  On the occasion of this briefing, Bahadur Singh had with him members of the 25-member committees of various states - Himachal Pradesh’s Raj Kumar, Deewan Singh and Rajendra Ghochi, Delhi’s Palaram, Haryana’s Gurcharan, Uttar Pradesh’s Ramfal, and others.  It should be noted that on 13th September after receiving the blessings of Guruji, a team of 100 volunteers had left for Bihar from Sirsa with nine truckloads of relief material.
