Certificates
Certificates are sent out by Oxford Brookes University's Taught Programmes Team and not by the ACCA office. You
should receive your certificate by post within the next 3 months. If you have not received your certificate by the end of
July 2015, please contact the Taught Programmes Team quoting your full name, address and ACCA number at
certificates@brookes.ac.uk. Should you change your address prior to receiving your certificate, please inform both

Graduation
Your award of the BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting degree is effective from the date of the University's BSc
Examination Board i.e. 23 March 2015. You do not have to attend an Oxford Brookes Graduation Ceremony as a
condition of being awarded the BSc degree but all BSc graduates will be given the opportunity to attend such an event.
Due to the growth in this programme, the University now holds regional graduation ceremonies for our BSc graduates.
We will contact you in due course via email to provide you with more details of an event. Please note that due to the
popularity of these events, we are only able to give graduates one opportunity to attend a ceremony with us. If you are
unable to make this particular event I regret to inform you that we are unable to invite you to any future ceremonies.
References
I regret that it is not possible for Oxford Brookes to provide a full academic reference to a BSc graduate in support of an
application for postgraduate study due to the structure of the BSc degree programme. However the University can
confirm to a third party that you have been awarded the BSc degree with your class of Honours.

2. Sharing your project
Following your success, I do ask that graduates do not share their successful project with other students to avoid the
risk of potential plagiarism. The University has a strict policy on this and any student sharing their project could be
subject to disciplinary action.

This letter, referred to as a pass letter, is also being posted to you along with an award confirmation letter and one copy
of your transcript. If you do not receive these documents in the post you must notify us by email by 31st May 2015. You
must quote your full name, ACCA number and inform us that you are a period 29 graduate. (We will check this data but
it will improve our response time if you supply this information).
As the award confirmation letter and transcript are official documents we do NOT supply electronic copies of these
documents.
