7. Objectives
To explore the rise of human civilization through
research and analysis
To study the change of human living from Neolithic
period to Civilizations
To demonstrate the various factors and issues that
developed a particular civilization
To develop skills in gathering information and
synthesizing relevant information into concise
presentation
13. Learning Outcomes
Able to recall the development of Eastern and
Western human civilization in the past as well as
present
Able to demonstrate good documentation and
presentation skills and enhance creativity through
the practice of performance and role play
16. Postcard
Packaging
The pictures show the
postcard back cover of the
project and also the
packaging. My them is
Hawker Centre, thus, my
packaging accommodates
to my theme with a
wrapping of a typical take-
away food in Malaysia.
17. Learning
Outcomes
1. Able to recall the development of
human civilization in the past as well as
present.
2. Able to demonstrate good research
and documentation skills and enhance
creativity through the representation of
postcard series
18. CONCLUSION
In conclusion, Culture & Civilization is an essential subject in
Foundation in Natural & Built Environment.
Architecture/Quantity Surveyor students will able to
understand the different elements available in the built
environment.
It allows students to understand the different cultures
and environments around the world. Therefore, this subject
is crucial to ensure qualified Architects of tomorrow.
Besides that, I would also like to thank my lecturer,
Ms.Ida Mazlan for her guidance and support for my studies.
Last but not least, I would like to thank my group
members, Lee Run Sen, Brandon Lim, Jonathan Ong, Chew
Wen Lin & Alex Wong for their cooperation and support over
the semester.
