1. Farmhouse Design:Introduction:A well to do business man, who is a physically challenged person (wheelchair bound)
from the city of Coimbatore proposed to build a weekend retreat in the outskirts of the
city. This farm house shall provide a welcome break from his hectic business
schedule, where he can spend time with his family and friends, relaxing in peace.
This cottage is to be located in a coconut grove along the Coimbatore-Palghat
highway.
Special considerations for the physically
challenged are necessary.
You are required to create a retreat with the
following.
1. Car porch
2. Entrance lobby/ Foyer
3. Living cum dining
4. Kitchennete
5. Master
bedroom
with
attached
toilet(Differently abled toilet)
6. Children’s bedroom
7. Common toilet
8. Sitout
9. Swimming pool
The total area of the cottage shall not exceed 125 sq.m (+ or – 10%)
Outdoor play spaces may be given as per design.
