We have replace our Picturetel Concorde 6000 and PT210 converter with Tandberg 6000. SMA tech team went through evaluation of the following product Picturetel PT970 and Tandberg 6000. Tandberg was chosen for broadroom linkup because of the following conditions Appliance based ( faster reset ) Reconnect at a faster time for drop ISDN line failure Will not disconnect on primary ISDN line failure Support multiparty 5. Support spilt dual screen for T120 and Audio/Video via IP as well as ISDN ( however not applicable due MIT setup ) However we have selected PictureTel PT970 for Research interactivity room because of it iPower technology ( People and content )
