Meet The Consumer Team
Sarah-Jayne Bennell - Director and Head of the Consumer Practice
Sarah-Jayne has become a trusted partner with many of her clients who she has
supported throughout the years. She is based in our London office.
She graduated in 1992 from Lancaster University, with a BA in Economics and MBA. She
started her career as a Strategy Consultant for McKinsey Consulting in the E-Commerce
Incubator division at the emergence of e-commerce. She then moved to Filofax Time
Management as Sales and Marketing Manager, driving training in time management,
leadership and change management.
From here she commenced her career in Executive search at PSD, initially recruiting for
Management Consultancies and then launched her experience in FMCG, Fashion,
Retail, Sport and Lifestyle recruitment.
Now offering over 17 years experience globally recruiting and consulting for brands
within the consumer spectrum, 90% of her assignments are international and she
assists clients on their growth strategies, particularly within omni-channel and new
market entry. Her track record includes working with some of the most enviable brands
across the globe.
During her personal time she is an active golf player and horse rider. She participates in
a variety of other sports and loves all fashion activities. She is also qualified in Beauty
Therapy and hopes one day to launch her concept spa as her lifelong dream.
Paula Kyprian - Recruitment Co-ordinator
Paula joined Veredus in 2001, and has over 15 years experience. She is an integral part
of the Veredus Business having worked across sectors, starting out her career with
Veredus in the Interim Management Department, then transferring to Executive Search
and Selection in 2005 where she supported the Health then latterly the Not For Profit
Departments. Paula now brings her experience gained from the Business to the
Consumer and Retail department.
Prior to Veredus, Paula was a Recruitment Administrator within Shared Services at
PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Paula’s personal time is taken up looking after her 4 children and baking. Her dream
would be to own her own bespoke cake shop.
Emma Fielding - Researcher
Emma graduated from Durham University with a 2:1 in Modern Languages. Born in
Hertfordshire and later moving to North London, she has a passion for languages and
for exploring different countries and cultures. She speaks French and German fluently
and has already gathered international experience within recruitment, having worked in
Germany and France.
Emma recently joined the Consumer Retail team at Veredus as a dedicated researcher.
She enjoys travelling, using her languages where possible, is an avid reader as well as a
keen Finswimmer.
