The Income Tax Department- Centralized Processing Centre (ITD-CPC), Bangalore has NOT YET received the ITR-V in your case. The ITD-CPC has already processed all ITR-Vs received up to 2 days prior to this email. However, please ensure that your mail-box is not full, your email address as per the I-T return is accurate, and that emails sent by us are not marked as "Spam" or "Junk"
The non-receipt of ITR-V at CPC may be due to the any of the following reasons:
The ITR-V may be in transit via India Post.
The ITR-V may be under process at CPC, Bangalore.
You may have furnished your ITR-V in the local Income Tax Office.
You may not have furnished your ITR-V to the CPC, Bangalore through India Post.
Your ITR-V may be defective.
Your ITR-V may have been misplaced in transit.
If you have already furnished the ITR-V by India Post recently (upto 10 days prior) and still not received any confirmation of the same due to the reasons in Sl 1 and 2 above, you may wait for a few more days and if you still do not receive any confirmation email from us, or if you have already sent the ITR-V prior to 10 days (Sl 6 above), then please immediately furnish a duplicate copy of the ITR-V duly verified and signed to the CPC Post Bag address by India Post.
If you have already received an email from us stating that your ITR-V is defective (Sl 5 above), please rectify and send the corrected ITR-V to the ITD-CPC address given below.
If you have furnished the ITR-V in the local Income Tax Office (Sl 3 above), you may note that this is not as per the prescribed procedure for submission of ITR-V as per Circular 3 (the same can be downloaded from https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/index.do). Please immediately furnish a duplicate copy of the ITR-V duly verified and signed to the CPC Post Bag address by India Post.
If you have not yet furnished the ITR-V (Sl 4 above), please immediately furnish a duplicate copy of the ITR-V duly verified and signed to the CPC Post Bag address by India Post.
Please furnish the signed and verified Form ITR-V to the Income-tax Department by mailing it to "Income Tax Department - CPC, Post Bag No - 1, Electronic City Post Office, Bangalore - 560100, Karnataka" within thirty days after the date of transmitting the data electronically. Please note that in case, ITR-V, is furnished after the above mentioned period, it will be deemed that the return in respect of which the Form ITR-V has been filed was never furnished and it shall be incumbent on the assessee to electronically re-transmit the data and follow it up by submitting the new ITR-V within thirty days
