DIALux display options plays an important rule in your design and have a lot of advantages which will affect on it. You just need to know when it is required to use them. Here you can find the display options icon in DIALux window as mentioned in the picture below:

The below diagram will show each element in display options, then we will discuss every 1:

2. 1) Coordination system: This option is used to show/hide coordination axes (X, Y & Z)
2) Reference lines: this option is used to show/hide reference lines, in case of using
some of them while starting your design.
3) Working Plan: this option is used to show/hide the working plan which is defined
as the plan where is the task is defined ( table , disk ,…… etc )

3. 4) Calculation Surface/Points: this option is used to show/hide calculation surface
and points ( Calculation surface : is the surface or the point where you need to have
a separate calculation process [ needs to be identified ] )
5) Wireframe view: this option is used to show/hide the surfaces of the all elements
used in your design [furniture/walls/ Etc] and keep their frame.
6) Isolines : this option is used to show/hide isolines
7) Autocad Drawing: this option is used to show/hide the Autocad Plan , is option is
useful in saving a view pic .

4. 8) Light distribution curves: this option is used to show/hide the photometric effect
of the used light fitting.
9) Room designation: this option is used to show/hide the room designation.
10) Sky Textures: this option is used to show/hide the sky texture (used for external
lighting design).

5. 11) False color correction: this option is used to show/hide FCC which show the
accurate values of the lux level received over each surface in the room.
12) Light Texture: this option is used to switch on/off the rendered lights.

6. 13) Light visualizing: this option is used to show/hide the effect of the used light fitting
before rendering, which allows you to test it before the rendering and decide if it
suites your design or no.
14) Energy Consumption: shows the energy consumption of the used light fittings.
