  2. 2. <ul><li>We do this project to: </li></ul><ul><li>Find the tonnes of glass that we throw in different places </li></ul><ul><li>Know more information about recycling glass process </li></ul>
  3. 3. <ul><li>It’s 100% recyclable </li></ul><ul><li>It melts at 1500 ºC </li></ul><ul><li>It’s hard, transparent and fragile </li></ul><ul><li>It’s an isolating material </li></ul><ul><li>Windows and bottles </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>1. Separate and classify the glass by colours </li></ul><ul><li>2. Remove labels and metallic tops </li></ul><ul><li>3. Clean and bleach it </li></ul><ul><li>4. Break the glass in small parts and melt in a furnace at 1.500 ºC (50% of recycled glass and 50% of raw glass) </li></ul><ul><li>There isn’t a limit on the number of times it can be recycled. </li></ul>
