After: “Unless I have to” All (Loud & w/ Gusto) : Neither are we!!! ASM Young: Otherwise known as, “Why am I driving the tires off my minivan?!”

After: “Assign each New Scout a mentor” Alex: I want Kirklen! Will: I want Keshaun! Thomas: I want Kyle! James Haner: Gimme, Scott! ASM Young: Hang on, guys, I’ll get to that after the Crossover Campout, next week!

After: Able to train other Scouts Cameron: I need all the help I can get to train these new Scouts! After: Outdoor survival Michael: I ain’t their mama or their daddy, either ASM Young: Yeah, but Mr. Thompson, Mr. Pollard, and I had to help you too!

After: Others to earn it by the end of March James Garrard: Mr. Young? You did bring the Scout badges tonight, didn’t you? ASM Young: You bet! They’ll get it when we form the new Scout patrols.

After: Personal fitness test Dean: I just passed mine. It took me a whole year to get this rank! It’s a good thing I finished 2nd Class & most of 1st Class in the mean time! ASM Young: Good thing! Back in my day, we couldn’t work on 1st Class until 2nd Class was complete!

After: Totin’ Chip Will: Where else can you play with knives and axes and get away with it? After: Firem’n Chit Thomas: I’m Sparky! I was the first one to start a fire with flint & steel!

ASM Young: Yeah, you’d have your Orienteering merit badge by now then wouldn’t you James Garrard: But I hate to write! ASM Young: Show me a boy your age who does! After: Backpacking trip at least 4 miles w/ 1000 ft climb TC: Don’t miss this trip! Or, it’ll be another year before you can do it again ASM Young: You’re right! I’d rather not climb a 1000 ft or more than once a year or so myself! Are you ready for the backpacking trip at FDR State Park? TC: When are we going? ASM Young: Stay tuned!

After: CPR Training Caleb: The scene is safe TC: JT, call 911! I’m beginning CPR Seth: Cameron, get an AED! Dean: 1, 2, 3, 4 . . . . . .

After: Citizenship meeting JT: I’m gonna read every night Seth: Me too! Judge Edwards said it means $600 every night I read until I graduate from high school once I leave college! ASM Young: You didn’t know one of your obligations as a citizen was to read, did you? After: Swimmer ASM Young: Some of you boys made it by the hair of chinny chin chin!

After: Hornaday Unit Award & Badge JT: We’ve never heard of these before ASM Young: I know you haven’t, because we haven’t revealed next year’s program to you yet!
