Houston is the Energy Capital of the World. There are over 5,000 energy companies headquartered here. The customers are here! Houston is the second largest IT Services Economies in the world. You need talent and deep domain expertise. We have it. Texas is a fully deregulated utility market. Competiton runs in our blood. Entrepreneurs are welcome. Texas has deployed the largest number of smart meters in the country. These data hogs are generating massive amounts of bits continually. And we need entrepreneurs that can manage, analyze and act upon it. Houston is the home of Energy Trading. The users, producers, and marketers of energy commodities live here. And they are asking for better tools, visibility, and analysis. The city of Houston is the largest purchaser of green power in the nation. We get it. Texas generates more wind energy than anyone else. We need to use it like our friends over at Clean Line Energy Partners. Houston's ecosystem is second to none because of the customers, the capital, the service providers that know how to work in this industry and the community of other leading entrepreneurial partners like the Rice Alliance and Houston Technology Center.
